Man charged with traveling to meet minor for sex

MIAMI (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade Police have arrested a man who, they said, solicited sex from an underage boy.

Bruce Edward Carter, 49, sits behind bars Tuesday, after attempting to meet a 12-year-old boy. Police said Carter chatted with the boy on an online social networking site.

Authorities said Carter sent the boy explicit pictures of himself and asked for some in return. Carter later went to allegedly meet the boy where undercover Miami-Dade Police arrested him.
