Bomb threat causes scare at Broward courthouse

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Broward Sheriff's Office deputies said a bomb threat was called in to the Broward County Courthouse, Tuesday morning.

The threat happened before the courthouse opened for the day. People were not allowed in until bomb squads finished a thorough investigation.

Officials are calling it a false alarm.

The courthouse has since reopened for the day.
