Local VW dealership to be largest in world

WESTON, Fla. (WSVN) -- One of the nation's most recognized automotive groups broke ground Tuesday morning for its new Volkswagen dealership which is expected to staff over 300 employees.

The Rick Case Volkswagen dealership in Weston will be the largest and tallest Volkswagen dealership in the world.

The eight-story dealership will feature 1,000 new and used cars inside its showroom. "This dealership will bring about 200 new jobs to the area," said Rick Case. "It's gonna be a great facility, stand out on I-75 and offer the latest and greatest service for the customer."

The dealership, located off Interstate 75 next to the Cleveland Clinic, will be Rick Case's fifth dealership in the Weston and Davie auto row.

A grand opening is planned for this fall.
