SWAT surround home after subject ran inside

DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- SWAT units were called to a home after a subject fleeing police ran inside. A woman ran out safe, and authorities continue to negotiate with subject.

The home in question is located at 133 SE 7th St. Police spotted the man on the roof of a home nearby. When they approached to question him, he jumped off and ran.

After a foot pursuit, he ran into the home occupied by a woman. The woman ran out, but he is still believed to be inside.

Deputies are considering the subject armed and dangerous, so they called SWAT.
