Robber snatches cop's purse

NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- An off-duty police officer was the victim of a robbery while inside her vehicle.

The robbery happened along Northwest 148th Street and Seventh Avenue in Northwest Miami-Dade.

Investigators say the Miami police officer was sitting in her personal vehicle when a silver sedan blocked her in. Someone jumped out, opened her passenger door and snatched her purse.

The officer was not hurt.
