Local high school choir to sing for Pope Francis

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A South Florida high school choir will be hitting some holy high notes when they sing in Italy for the new pope.
The high school women's choir from Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart are extremely excited.
They'll be singing in Saint Peter's Square this Easter Sunday for Pope Francis. "We're really excited," said Elizabeth Diaz. "Were going to Rome to sing for the pope on Easter and traveling around Italy as well."
"We're going to be traveling to three different cities," said Isabel Mendia, "Florence, Rome and Assisi. We're going to be singing in all these beautiful churches and cathedrals, and have some free time to look at all this awesome art work."
Saturday night, the ladies also got to sing for Archbishop Thomas Wenski.
The mass was held at Saint Mary's Cathedral in Miami.
