Carnival cruise passengers back on land

TAMPA, Fla. (WSVN) -- Passengers aboard another troubled Carnival cruise ship are now back on land.

The passengers got off the Carnival Legend after a technical issue affected the ship's maximum speed and forced it to miss one of its stops.

The ship arrived at port early Sunday morning in Tampa.

It was scheduled to leave on another trip Sunday afternoon with technicians continuing to make repairs.

Thousands of passengers from the Carnival Dream arrived back in Orlando by plane a couple of days ago.

That ship docked and unloaded in St. Maarten after being stranded because of problems with a generator.
