2 injured in car accident

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) -- Two people are recovering in the hospital after two cars collided at an intersection.

The accident happened Sunday at the intersection of Johnson Street and North Federal Highway. Investigators said the impact sent one car careening into a restaurant.

A witness snapped a photo of the accident and sent it to 7News.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries.
