Local family sues NFL player after attempted break-in

MIAMI (WSVN) -- An NFL player already in trouble with the law now faces a lawsuit after police arrested him in North Miami Beach.

Last month, Desmond Bryant, who plays for the Cleveland Browns, was charged with criminal mischief.

Police said he was intoxicated and tried to break down the door of a home after a night of partying on South Beach.

Monday we learned that homeowner is suing Bryant, claiming that, during the attempted break-in, he and his family, feared for their lives.
