Man in court after crashing into FHP cruiser

MIAMI (WSVN) -- A man who police say crashed into a Florida Highway Patrol cruiser faced a judge Tuesday.
Thirty-one-year-old Joshua Curtis Gilbert faces several charges including DUI property damage with injuries.
Police said a FHP trooper was helping a disabled vehicle on Interstate 95, near 135th Street, in North Miami on Monday, when Gilbert slammed into the back of his cruiser.
The trooper was taken to the hospital.
