Emergency repair shuts down A1A

LAUDERDALE BY THE SEA, Fla. (WSVN) -- Broward Sheriff's Office deputies had to shut down part of A1A, Friday.

The closure comes as construction crews work to fix a pothole. The road is closed at Hibiscus Avenue to south of Commercial Boulevard.

It is expected to reopen by the afternoon.
