North Bay Village wins legal battle over strip club

NORTH BAY VILLAGE, Fla. (WSVN) -- The city of North Bay Village has won a legal victory after a developer wanted to build a strip club right next to Channel 7's headquarters.

The city had blocked a developer from building a strip club across the street from a daycare center and temple. That strip club would have also been right next to Channel 7.

The developer, Scott Greenwald, sued the city, but a judge threw out the case.

Greenwald appealed and, on Friday, the appellate court affirmed that Greenwald's lawsuit against the Village should be dismissed. That means he will not be able to build the strip club.
