Water main repair to cause low water pressure
NORTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (WSVN) -- The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department will start repairing the water main on Red Road this Monday.
The project, part of the Infrastructure Assessment and Replacement Program, will temporarily lower water pressure throughout the Northwest portion of Miami-Dade County for the next three days.
Although people may experience lower water pressure, the water quality will not be affected and will continue to meet all local, state and federal drinking water standards.
The project will take place on Red Road, also known as West 4th Avenue in Hialeah, between West 13th and West 20th streets.
Once repairs are completed, water pressures will return to normal.
