2 teens hospitalized after allegedly taking drugs at school
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A couple of students experienced a scare at school after they ingested drugs.
Administrators said the two 14 year old's ingested a combination of drugs which might've contained ecstasy.
The duo was taken from the Feinberg-Fisher K-8 Center in Miami Beach to Mount Sinai Hospital after they complained of rapid heart rates. "Well, when I was going up to my class to the water fountain I saw an ambulance," said a student. "I was shocked."
Parents were also shocked. "It surprised me that it happened on school property," said a concerned parent, "but as far as I've been here, and as far as my kids, because my daughter used to be here as well, the school has been very supportive with the kids."
Officials are trying to figure out where the kids got the drugs.
