Police make progress in shooting case
OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police in South Florida believe they may have a break in the case of a highway homicide.
Police said they believe they know of two people who may have had contact with a Lauderhill man before he was shot to death.
The pair was last seen leaving a restaurant in a silver Toyota-type car.
Investigators are not calling them suspects, but said they may have information about the incident.
Thirty-three-year-old Nicholas Walker was shot Sunday morning as he drove onto Interstate 95 from Commercial Boulevard in Oakland Park.
Police arrived on the scene, found Walker dead inside a silver car crashed into a guard rail and lit up in flames.
