Store owner under surveillance arrested
SWEETWATER, Fla. (WSVN) -- Investigators hit the jackpot during an undercover investigation in Sweetwater.
About 600 bags of synthetic marijuana were found inside the Quick Pik convenience store along West Flagler Street and 112th Avenue.
The store was put under surveillance after authorities received complaints about the owner selling the substance.
Police arrested owner 26-year-old Basheer Mustafa after witnessing a 19-year-old walking out of the store with beer.
Mustafa was charged with selling alcohol to a minor.
So far, he has not been charged with anything related to the synthetic marijuana discovery.
