Dinosaur exhibit to open at Miami Children's Museum
WATSON ISLAND, Fla. (WSVN) -- Dinosaurs will be on display this summer at a South Florida museum.
Miami Children's Dino Island exhibit is a 2,500 square foot display that will take visitors on a journey 200 million years into the past where they can dig for fossils and learn the science behind dinosaurs.
"It's going to consist of these creatures here," said Exhibits Director Michael Neufeld. "We have 13 robotic creatures throughout the exhibit. We're going to have a few up in our cone as well. We have some photo ops, we have some robotic ones that the kids can actually control."
The exhibit opens Saturday, June 8, and runs until Jan. 5.
