DNA evidence leads police to man's murderer
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Fort Lauderdale Police have arrested a man accused of murdering another man last year.
Police responded to the backyard of a home located at 512 Northwest 19th Ave. back in October and found Carlton Spear dead. Detectives canvassed the area and passed out flyers asking for the public's help for any information.
Spear's murder remained unsolved until DNA evidence collected at the scene lead police to Austin Barington, and he was arrested.
