BSO question 2 in cell phone store robbery
OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (WSVN) -- Broward County Sheriff's Office deputies are questioning two subjects who may be behind a cell phone store robbery, Monday morning.
BSO said, around 9:40 a.m., two armed men walked into the T-Mobile Store located at 881 East Commercial Blvd. and stole up to 100 cell phones.
"Around 9:40 today, two armed, masked, gloved gunmen walked into a T-Mobile store in Oakland Park," said BSO spokesperson Dani Moschella. "At gunpoint, they ordered employees to a back storeroom where several cellphones were kept. They took many cellphones, up to 100 cellphones, and fled."
Just a couple hours later, BSO deputies tracked down two subjects in Deerfield Beach who are possibly connected to the crime.
This is not the first time a store on 881 East Commercial Blvd. has been hit. Previously, the suspects smashed through the front door and robbed the store before it opened later that morning.
The suspects are still being questioned by investigators and have not been charged yet.
