Students go on back-to-school shopping spree
HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Less fortunate students across Miami-Dade County are going on a back-to-school shopping spree at a Hialeah Target.
Forty students living in a Salvation Army shelter are getting stocked up for school, and it's all thanks to Target and The Salvation Army.
Student Tayon Francis said, "Every little thing could help. They say, big things pop em and little things stop em."
Student Maria Reyes added, "I think it's very helpful for us because most of our parents aren't working, so it's really good for us."
Each student got an $81 gift card to buy school supplies, clothing and other back-to-school necessities.
