Service to be held for Hialeah massacre victims
HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A final farewell service will be held next week for the victims of last month's Hialeah massacre.
The city and the Archiodecese of Miami will hold a special mass for the six victims next week.
The victims were shot by Pedro Vargas who went on a rampage at their apartment complex in Hialeah on July 26.
Vargas was later killed by SWAT team members.
The service will take place Monday, Aug. 12 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located on 4497 West First Avenue in Hialeah at 8 p.m.
The mass will be open to the public.
