Timberlake, Jay-Z hit the stage together
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- Tens of thousands of fans attended the most highly anticipated concerts of the year as two of music's biggest stars ended their tour in South Florida.
Justin Timberlake's and Jay-Z' Legends of Summer Tour at Sunlife Stadium took place Friday night.
It's the final stop of their 14-city tour that began in mid-July. "We all go home tomorrow. It's been a long few weeks," said Jay-Z Production Manager Bobby Schneider.
Several fans arrived early and said they could not wait to get the party started. "It's amazing. This is freaking awesome," said a woman.
The heat wasn't going to stop this group from partying four hours before the show started. "Get out of work, get home, get ready, pack up and we have to be the first ones here," said another fan.
Promoters said the concert featured old school hits from both artists and new hits from their new albums.
The show kicked off at 8 p.m. with an after-party at the Fillmore in South Beach.
