Church service held for 12-year-old shooting victim
MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (WSVN) -- A somber service was held Saturday for the 12-year-old girl killed in a drive-by shooting while inside her grandmother's home.
More than 100 people gathered to say farewell to 12-year-old Tequila Forshee at the Cooper Temple Church of God and Christ in Miami Gardens. Several of Forshee's family members spoke to the congregation to share their pain during the service.
Forshee was fatally struck in the head when gunshots ripped through her grandmother's living room on Aug. 14. She was sitting on a couch getting her hair braided for the first day of school.
