Burn Notice items up for auction
MIAMI (WSVN) -- As TV says goodbye to the Burn Notice cast, fans of the locally shot TV show can now recreate scenes in their very own homes.
The Miami-based show is in its seventh and final season and items used during the series will be up for bid for anyone and everyone interested. "Whoever wants it, and they're willing to pay, they're gonna get it," Annette Grasso of Jay Sugarman Auction said.
Everything that was ever used in the show, from the clothes to the props to the staples and scene setters used by the stars are up for sale at the Coconut Grove Convention Center. "Over here we have a few pieces that actually came from Madeline, especially that lounge you would've seen in the show," Andre Adom, a member of the Burn Notice production team said. "This actually is a lounge chair that was inside Madeline's house. This is worth quite a bit because this is in pretty much every single episode, I would say."
The two-day sale starts Tuesday morning with thousands of items up for grabs, including desks, decor, lamps, safes, spy equipment, sofa sets and entire sets.
Even cars sat in and used by the shows stars will be up for sale. "For seven years these cars have had main actors sitting in them and had conversations," Adom said.
Auctioneers said cars, Hawaiian shirts and fancy shoes and dresses will be auctioned off online on Wednesday so fans not able to make it to the convention center have an opportunity at the items.
"We're going to sell everything," Grasso said. "We can sell something for a dollar, so I don't see anything staying."
