Baby needs donations for lung transplant surgery
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A little girl suffering from a rare disease is in need of a lung transplant.
Eighteen-month-old Julia Salas was brought in to Chris Evert Children's Hospital in Fort Lauderdale and was diagnosed with Respiratory Syncytial Virus, a virus that infects the lungs and breathing passages.
Only two hospitals in the entire country perform these procedures on children this young: Shands in Orlando and one in Texas. Her family needs to raise $800,000 for Julia to have the procedures.
If you would like to donate to Julia, please visit a Wells Fargo Bank account number 2088 4306 53.
