Man accused of burglary, rape denied bond
MIAMI (WSVN) -- A South Florida man accused of burglarizing a home and sexually assaulting a male resident appeared in court.
Sunday, a judge denied bond for 24-year-old Marcos Mendoza on sexual battery and burglary charges. Officers said he broke into the victim's home and attacked him.
Police arrested Mendoza early Saturday morning at the scene in Little Havana.
A neighbor called police about the break-in, leading to Mendoza's arrest.
