Watercraft stolen from storage facility
MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police are searching for two crooks who stole a watercraft from a South Florida storage facility.
The theft happened at about 4 a.m. at the storage facility on Northeast 66th Street and Second Avenue. Surveillance captured the two crooks reversing a black pickup truck into the lot and hooking up a trailer carrying a personal watercraft, back on Sept. 2.
The thieves then drove away.
The owner said the Yamaha watercraft is worth more than $5,000. "You go into work everyday to make your money and then to buy a toy and what you get is somebody who just comes and takes it from you," said Monica Pastor. "It's not a pleasant feeling."
If you have any information on this theft, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
