Heavy rain, lightning hits South Florida
MIAMI (WSVN) -- Severe weather hit hard in some South Florida neighborhoods over the weekend.
Powerful wind gusts knocked down a tree in Hialeah at West 72nd Street and 16th Avenue.
Meanwhile, in Big Pine Key, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office tweeted a picture of a tree split in half by a lightning bolt.
A 7News viewer sent in video of strong winds and drenching rain in Key Biscayne at the Mar Azul Condos.
More viewers submitted photos of flooded streets in Miami and Hialeah.
