Crooks break into Gables clothing store
CORAL GABLES, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police are looking for a pair of crooks behind a burglary at a Coral Gables clothing store.
Surveillance cameras captured the two suspects smashing through the store's front door at Guayaberas Etc. near Coral Way and LeJeune Road, last Friday morning.
A man could be seen going directly for the cash register while a female accomplice headed for the merchandise.
The owner believes the two have been in his store before. "They obviously knew where everything was. They went straight to premium goods. You know, our made in USA product we made in-house, we keep in the front. They went straight to that and to the drawer," said owner Miguel Jimenez.
The owner said the suspects made off with more than $9,000 in merchandise and cash.
