Horse tongue found nailed to tree
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Detectives are investigating the discovery of a horse tongue attached to a tree in Southwest Miami-Dade, Wednesday afternoon.
Animal Recovery Mission officials found the alleged horse tongue nailed to tree near the Calusa Country Club, located at 9400 S.W. 130th Ave., in Southwest Miami-Dade.
Investigators also found a note with a list of names attached to the tongue. They believe it could be part of a Santeria ritual.
Detectives will be sending the animal body part to a lab to confirm whether or not it is a horse tongue.
