Plane makes safe landing after gear collapses
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- A plane coming from the Bahamas made a safe landing at a South Florida airport after reporting problems with its landing gear.
Runway 8 at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport was closed for hours after a small plane's landing gear collapsed just after 10 a.m. Saturday.
The Federal Aviation Administration said there were six people inside the plane, including the pilot.
No one was injured.
What caused the gear to collapse remains unclear.
