Propane tank ruptures in residential area
LAUDERHILL, Fla. (WSVN) -- Fire rescue crews rushed to a Lauderhill neighborhood after reports of a leak from a propane gas tank, Wednesday.
Investigators said someone with the gas company was filling an underground tank when the valve broke in the area of Northwest 29th Street and 56th Avenue.
One of the workers was injured and taken to a nearby hospital. His condition remains unknown.
Crews said the gas leak has now been capped.
