Hotel scammer back in court
CORAL GABLES, Fla. (WSVN) -- The man accused of ripping off several high-end hotels across South Florida returned to court Wednesday to face a new charge.
Thirty-six-year-old James Sabatino appeared before a judge on charges of organized fraud and grand theft for ripping off another high-end South Florida hotel.
He was arrested at the Hyatt Regency in Coral Gables, after being recognized by an employee.
Police said he has checked into several hotels posing as an entertainment executive and racking up a quarter of a million dollars in expenses.
