Mother speeding in school zone arrested
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have arrested a South Florida mother who was driving her children to school after she was caught speeding in a school zone.
According to police, the woman was speeding in a school zone along Davie Boulevard and Southwest 22nd Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, Monday morning.
The woman, who had her children in the car, crashed into a police cruiser when officials attempted to pull her over. They eventually caught up to her and arrested her.
The children were picked up by the grandmother. No one was injured.
