MIA terminal evacuated after security threat
MIAMI (WSVN) -- A terminal at Miami International Airport has been reopened after a suspicious item was detected Wednesday morning.
Miami-Dade Police said a bomb-sniffing dog found something suspicious in a pallet near Terminal J. The bomb squad moved in and investigated it, and they have since given the all clear. There is no information on what that device may have been.
The second and third level of Concourse J were evacuated and the J-south checkpoint was closed, but they are up and running again. Officials said only two flights were delayed.
