Homeless man struck by hit-and-run driver
MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police are searching for the driver who struck a homeless man in Downtown Miami and fled from the scene.
Police said a gray Toyota Camry struck the 28-year-old pedestrian at Northeast Fifth Avenue and Biscayne Boulevard, Thursday morning. Skyforce HD cameras captured the scene of the hit-and-run collision.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews transported the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities are looking for the Toyota Camry. If you have any information on the driver's whereabouts, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
