Underwater pumpkin carving contest held off Key Largo
KEY LARGO, Fla. (WSVN) -- Divers carved up a Halloween staple under the sea Sunday.
Dozens participated in an underwater pumpkin-carving contest in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary off Key Largo.
Working against the pumpkins' buoyancy, the divers headed 30 feet below the surface to craft their Jack-o'-lantern creations. The winning entry featured a retainer-wearing smile.
