Crews continue to clean at contaminated parks
COCONUT GROVE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Clean up crews continue to dig out toxins at a South Florida park.
Crews returned to Blanche Park in Coconut Grove Wednesday to clean up layers of contaminated soil on the grounds and put down new sod.
On Tuesday, crews started removing toxic soil from the area's perimeter. Toxic ash from incinerators was dumped at Blanche Park and several other parks back in the '60s.
