Reward raised in hit-and-run accident
DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have raised the monetary reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest in a the hit-and-run crash that left a South Florida man in critical condition.
Thirty-four-year-old Matthew Scott Danchak remains in critical condition after a white tractor trailer struck him on the Sawgrass Expressway, Oct. 14. According to officials, Danchak was driving a blue Hyundai and had been involved in an accident with a separate vehicle. When the driver of the vehicle stepped out of his car, Danchak followed to make sure he was OK. That is when the semi-truck hit Danchak and kept driving.
Authorities are now offering a $3,000 reward for anyone with information leading to an arrest.
