DANIA BEACH, Fla. (WSVN) -- A boat captain is angry over the damaged caused to his boat by the Barefoot Bandit.

The 44-foot boat James Sabin captains arrived in Harbor Town Marina, Wednesday afternoon. It was towed from Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas, where Sabin said Colton Harris, a.k.a. the Barefoot Bandit, ran it aground.

"He needs to be back in prison. He's done $80,000 worth of damage," said the angry captain.

The Barefoot Bandit has been accused of 80 different crimes in nine states.

On July 4, Harris flew a small plane more than 1,000 miles from Indiana to the Bahamas, where he crash landed into a swamp. It was there, police said, the 19-year-old broke into the boat and hung out there for a while. "I'm not sure for how long, but some of my clothes have been worn," said Sabin.

The captain said he found things on the boat that were not there before, like a flashlight. "CDs, coffee cup, these utensils that were used, toothbrush that was used, which is mine, and I won't touch it," Sabin said.

Officials said Harris took the boat from Marsh Harbor to the waters off Eleuthera, and went on a crash course in an area known as the Devil's Backbone. He then tried to start the dingy attached to the boat with a screw driver but was unsuccessful, so he fled on foot.

"Give me five minutes and I'll whip his expletive," said the Captain. "He's malicious. He's just out there to destroy what people's worked for."

Harris is being held in Seattle and he faces a list of federal charges.

According to Harris' attorney, he feels bad about the whole thing and was only running because he was afraid.

It has been reported that the teen has also turned down several book deals.
