South Florida 'Bonnie and Clyde' busted
PINECREST, Fla. (WSVN) -- A couple Pinecrest police dubbed a modern day Bonnie and Clyde were nabbed by authorities Friday.
During the apprehension of Gustavo and Danet Ravelo, deputies discovered a knife, stolen credit cards and a Rolex watch in the duo's possession. Officials said the pair followed shoppers home from a supermarket, held them at knife-point and demanded their purses and jewelry.
A surveillance camera recorded the duo's pickup truck along a street following an alleged robbery.
Police charged the couple with armed robbery and grand theft.
