Police investigate 3 bodies found shot to death as murder-suicide
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade Police are investigating a domestic-related double homicide and suicide. The investigation involves a 2-year-old, her mother and father.
Officials said a security guard at the Dadeland South Metrorail Station in Kendall discovered Bill Poveda, 29, Judith Paul, 29, and 2-year-old Ava Paul shot to death inside a vehicle late Sunday night. "At approximately 11:10 this evening, one of the security guards that works the Metrorail discovered three deceased bodies inside of a vehicle that was parked in the parking lot," said Miami-Dade Police Detective Juan Villalba.
Family members woke up early Monday morning to the grim news. "It's hard, it's really hard. It's a heavy hitter, it really is a heavy hitter," said Kenyarda Scott. "It's rough, were still in a point of understanding what's going on."
Investigators said they are not looking for any suspects in the case. "Detectives had advised that at this point in the investigation, they feel that they are not looking for any subjects," said Villalba.
Officials said Poveda and Paul were in a relationship together but were not married.
