Man dies after car plunges into canal
PARKLAND, Fla. (WSVN) -- Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating why a man died after his car crashed into a canal early Sunday.
Authorities said the driver somehow lost control of his vehicle and plunged into a canal at the intersection of Pine Island Road and Coral Ridge Drive.
The BSO Dive Team worked to free the man who was inside the vehicle. Once the man was pulled out of the car, Coral Springs Fire Rescue transported him to the Coral Springs Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
