Police search for hit and run driver, one dead
SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, Fla. (WSVN) -- Miami-Dade police are searching for the driver who fled the scene of an accident late Friday night.
Authorities said a vehicle was driving eastbound on Southwest 42nd Street and 132nd Avenue when it struck another vehicle, forcing it onto the shoulder and into a tree.
The driver of the victim's vehicle was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital and the passenger died on the scene.
