Bay Harbor Islands, Fla. (WSVN) -- A Bay Harbor Islands police officer has been cleared of any wrongdoing in an alleged case of racial profiling.

The two men who said they were targeted by police officer Robert Harnack are outraged by the outcome. "I have no reason to lie. I have no reason to make false accusations against the law. I've been treated bad. I've been treated wrong," Floyd Greer said.

Greer stands by his story that he was a victim of racial profiling. Greer and his co-worker Rodney Jackson both work on Bay Harbor Islands. They claim they were both pulled over in the span of three hours by the same officer, Harnack.

Floyd said he was pulled over because the tints on his window were too dark. "He told me to bite them off with my teeth, and my kind is not wanted on the island. [He said] a whole bunch of things. Like I said, it will be brought up in court, and I will take a polygraph."

The town took the accusations seriously and launched a full scale investigation.

Town manager Ron Wasson said it was an impartial investigation performed by an independent party. "He was exonerated from racial profiling, which to date has only been made through the press," Wasson said.

The town manager said they are working on a plan to install video and audio systems in patrol cars to document everything that takes place on the road.
