Driver runs over Florida toddler riding a tricycle
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A West Palm Beach family is in mourning after their 2-year-old was run over while riding a tricycle in a driveway.
The Palm Beach Sheriff's Office says Sergio Martinez was playing Wednesday afternoon when he was hit and run over by a Ford Explorer. The driver, Rangel Rauda, says she didn't see the boy because a parked car was blocking her view.
The toddler later died at a hospital.
Charges against the driver are pending.
