Cab driver robbed, pistol whipped
MIAMI (WSVN) -- Police are searching for four suspects who allegedly robbed and pistol-whipped a cab driver late Thursday.
Miami Police found the taxi driver unconscious along Northeast 26th Street and Sixth Avenue around 7 p.m. "I mean he could have been probably been beat up or something like that, maybe. he looked like he was in pain; he was holding his stomach," said on-looker Reinaldo Blanco.
The victim regained consciousness and described the thugs to authorities before paramedics airlifted the cabbie to Jackson Memorial Hospital.
