Police arrest one in fatal shooting of gas station clerk, one at large
HOLLYWOOD, Fla. (WSVN) -- Police have named two suspects in the fatal shooting of a Hess gas station clerk.
Authorities have arrested Shawn Joseph and are looking for Lawrence Johnson in connection to the fatal shooting of 36-year-old Sunil Paul.
According to Hollywood Police, Paul was shot to death several times during a robbery at the Hess Gas Station at 1840 N. Federal Highway, around 1:45 a.m. on Nov. 25.
Barbara Lee knew Paul and had only nice things to say about him the day after the shooting. "Very sweet, like I said, very soft spoken, very quiet, doesn't bother anybody, very polite," she said.
Rescue crews transported the wounded clerk to Memorial Regional Hospital where he later died.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of Johnson, call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. Remember, you can always remain anonymous, and you may be eligible for a reward.
