Cruise ship crews rescue rafters
MIAMI (WSVN) -- Authorities rescued five men off the coast of Florida Sunday.
Cruise ship crews rescued the rafters 25 miles off the southwestern part of the state.
Passenger Bill Rankin witnessed the rescue. "They brought them back from one of the ship's boats. They brought them back, and they fed them. I don't know if they bathed them or anything, but they fed them, gave them water. They were dehydrated," Rankin said.
Workers aboard the Norwegian Pearl gave the men medical attention before turning them over to the U.S. Coast Guard.
Officials are trying to determine the boaters' nationality before deciding on the best course of action.
