Man accused of fatal hit and run accident claims not to be the driver

UNDATED (WSVN) -- The owner of a car believed to be behind a deadly hit and run claims he wasn't behind the wheel that fateful night.

Thirty-four-year-old Ryan Levin's damaged white Porsche was found abandoned on the northbound ramp of Interstate 595 to Interstate 95 last Friday night.

Authorities said the car struck and killed two British businessmen walking down a street in Fort Lauderdale.

So far, no arrests have been made.

Levin was arrested in Chicago back in 2006 for leading police on a high speed chase. He served 30 months probation in that case but has not been charged in this most recent incident.
